Gioconda (Gia) Mirra is a Bay Area–based actor, singer, and dancer who loves diving headfirst into bold characters, big emotions, and meaningful stories. With experience as a teaching artist and theatrical technician, she brings both heart and insight to every project onstage, backstage, and everywhere in between.

Originally from the East Coast, Gia grew up surrounded by the arts and never quite outgrew that early spark. Growing up in a Dominican & Italian household taught her about rhythm, movement and storytelling from a very young age. She went on to graduate magna cum laude from California State University, East Bay with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Musical Theatre. Favorite roles include Carla in In the Heights, Jean in American Psycho, and Martha in Spring Awakening.
